Arend de Jong, SwapArt Founder
Arend is the founder of SwapArt. Art was always in his life - starting with his mother Anke Mensink, a professional artist. A business guy, he worked with theaters, dance groups and art spaces as an advisor, board member and financial specialist, besides specializing in startup businesses.
A childhood spent putting canvasses together, hanging paintings at exhibitions and meeting other artists meant that SwapArt is his true home. His passion is to make art accessible, dynamic and affordable, and making art part of everyday life, by transforming how art is experienced in homes and offices.
